In my use case, is just serving the assets as I'm usually using Argosy on my android device or the emulatorjs on other plataforms. Didn't try yet the new functionality of "streaming" the emulator.
But probably will not needed as I'm mostly playing 16/32/64bit era's games.
But probably my N100 with integrated GPU will not be the best choice for this feature 😅
I think they use claude in some way. Not disclosed the degree, however. So, not sure if it's pure vibe-coded or just assisted (I'm not positioned on the topic and have a "debian-like" approach to it).
And I can understand that sometimes it can behave extremely randomly (modifying collections because in the client a platform is not synced, happened to me once).
But so far, the built-in emulator works really well for save/state sync, and now it can run 3DS (so it's a one less emulator to install).

I'm a huge fan of RomM, they have been improving their solution constantly.
Also, combine that with their Argosy launcher and you have a great combo of centralized repository and sync client.

I can understand you, we were in a similar situation 4 years ago with our dog (we are a dog-cat family). "Luckily" for us, we were on time to take him home for his last hours.
But, rage and sense of vengeance will never gave him back to us, neither will happen to you. On the other hand, I totally understand your pain, I'm on the verge of tears just remembering ours.
If you want to take any advice from an stranger like me, let's make people around you and them know what has happened, not with rage but with facts, and allow them to make their own decision.
For us, since that awful day I've never recommended that hellish place to anyone asking for advice or around us. But, honestly, people have challenges to be empathetic with rage, specially if it's a pain they have never endured.

I have been in Nextcloud wagon for quite sometime, but latest versions or new features are not really in my use case. I just want a place to store my files and work with others (mostly family), nothing about AI assistants or the like.
With that said, I have a testing instance of Sync-in. So far is good, files are stored on my server and the structure makes it easy to backup (one of the reasons I dropped OpenCloud), collaboraCODE integration works really well, sharing spaces with family works OK.
The only missing feature is an Android client, like nextcloud, to store some files locally (something that you could need to be available and not be concerned about connectivity).
As a workaround, I'm using syncthing (I'm aware of the android-app related drama, and that's why I would love to have an Android native client for Sync-in).
In my case, for Linux ISOs, is only needed to login in my usual private trackers and re-download my leeched torrents.
For more niche content, like old school TV shows in local language, I would rely in the community.
For even more niche content, like tankoubons only available at the time on DD services, I have a specific job but also relying in the same back up provider that I'm using for personal data.
Also, as it's important to remind to everyone, you must encrypt your backup no matter where you store it.

My hopes are set on a fully operational Android Auto compatibility (not able to make it run in the last beta, yet).
At home at least try to put some meaning, but at corporate environments as some have mention I got with the classical location-function-environment-XXX ^_^U

I use late pet names, for me as a tribute to their memory. Also, I try to put some logic in the name, like the squirrel name for a lightweight VM with not much services / workload or dog name for the reverse proxy (guardian function).
