You could also do this with a single device and a VM. Add a network bridge on the host connect both the host and a openwrt VM to it. And pass on the actual interface to the VM.
And that's why I have a VLAN without outbound connections allowed. Still allows me to cast to the device from a separate vlan but the TV has no internet at all.
If you have good backups of the phone to say something like nextcloud or a other cloud service. Wipe the phone clean before travel. Then just give them the pin. Nothing to see at all. Then pull down a backup once passed the border control.

Sometimes that's not enough and windows will force choose the edition requiring even more work on the ISO preparation. Linux you boot and click true to non invasive menu and it just installs.
Yes their are ways to open cmd and get a local account that way, but not all work anymore and Microsoft is slowly shutting that door.
I got a Minis forum S100 PC stick. It does work well with kodi. But! It can be a load of work to get going. This device is using a UFS storage chip. So not all distros will install on it by default and require some tweaks to load kernel modules at boot. I use the device with alpine Linux and kodi GBM on top (libreelec doesnt see the storage device).
Also keep a eye out for what the CPU supports on these lower end chips. Not all of them have great hardware decoding support.
Not really... "Education" and real world are vastly different. Getting accustomed to a mailing list other maintainers etc is not something you learn with your education.
And leaving bugs for hardware no one has touched in ages is not too big of a deal. And a nice gateway for new comers who actually want to learn it instead of trow a LLM at it.
Honestly 15+ year old bugs are also left in the linux kernel for people to pick up, Learn from and get deeper in kernel development. They know they can easily find them with a LLM but choose not to. Policy's are changing due to the mass influx of these "bug" fixes.

I am curious if Grapheneos OS, its storages scopes would limit this possibility.
Kodi with the jellycon add-on, does require a jellyfin setup though.
If you dont mind live TV that is. While possible on kodi it is a bit more work.
I think GOS is established enough it can pull through. Won't be easy at all though.

Yeah exactly. Some artist also make their music available for download in high ress formats after a fee. Which I am happy to pay directly to them.
