If anyone (non-nordic) want to see how normal summer cabins look. Just do a search for "Swedish sommarstuga" or "Norwegian hytte". Swedish summer cabins along the west coast is usually white or brown. The inlands cabins usually sport a traditional red color with white detailing. Called "faluröd".
I bought the 0.5tb + controller bundle.
I was also sad about the pricing. But o boy, I love this machine. It is tiny! Dead silence and still a nice upgrade compared to my old desktop.
It får exceeds what I was hoping to use it for. The only thing I do not like is steam os desktop mode. My plan was to use it as a desktop pc more than a console, and I miss using gnome DE and having rolling releases.
O am thinking of doing the opposite.
I received my steam machine last week and feel it is just a bit to limited. I have been dailying endeavourOS får many years by now and miss the air and yay. I know I can install it on the steamOD, but messing with the immutable nature of it feels wrong.
My biggest Gripe with steamOS out of the box is KDE 6.4. I miss Gnome
Sweden and us Swedes are very pro Ukraine and against Russia. Even tho we have not been in a war in over 200 years, Russia is considered the biggest enemy of Sweden still.
I do not consider this a play for tourists.
This logic aligns with how the Nordics contribute towards the defence of Ukraine, from Denmark's massive packages in the begining, to Swedens recent gift of 16 Saab JAS gripens
