Not a whole lot on its face. But eventually, everything graphical and modern will be Wayland-first and it’ll be the expected native experience under the hood. There’s also the slight security bump of app isolation, less screen tearing without hacks, and better multi monitor support.

Not everybody knows or cares what a one liner is. Noe everyone is a competent user. Some people just want to drag and drop. Some people come from the Mac world and want things to work that way. Some people don’t and still want it 🤷

Linux is pretty big these days.

Oh I agree. We just get lots of comments to that sentiment. I’m not a huge AI fan personally, but if the results are good. They’re good.

I’m going to bet there’ll be a lot of folks unhappy with this quote:

I suspect it’s a lot of AI tool use that will keep finding corner cases for us for a while, so this may be the “new normal” at least for a while. Only time will tell.

And Nintendo continues to do its thing away from everyone else over there in that corner.
