I'm really interested especially because I really loved the Nintendo DS era, I'm fine emulating from DS backwards (some Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo would be nice too), does it fit in your pocket like your phone? I think that's basically my main goal, to be able to walk somewhere and start playing like the ol' DSi, because you can't do that with current mainstream portable consoles nowadays :(

As far as I remember, this is not World Cup exclusive, this happens with anything else that get famous. Like when some artist become famous because of some TikTok posts and then suddenly people start saying that they've been listening to that famous since day one?
The issue with this theory is the crypto scam, but aside from that I would guess that this way they can keep their players engaged with the game since they don't like sharing anything at all and gamers want everything as soon as possible
I still believe the theory that the leaks are part of Rockstar's own advertising campaign, if there a company that know they can milk their own customers aside from Nintendo, it's Rockstar.

Can't you just put all your packages in the same repository but different directories? Example: debian/.deb, fedora/.rpm, appimage/appimage...
