A podcast is basically a blog with RSS feed where all the entries are audio files. So in theory you could do it that way it's probably be a bit of a job to set up, then serving the files would take a fair bit of bandwidth (if it gets even moderately popular), encoding to something like OPUS format might help if playback support in podcast players is widespread (MP3, AAC or OGG Vorbis might be a better fallback.

The audio editor I would choose is Audacity it's been the gold standard for a free audio recorder/editor for years.

Careful with hosted podcasting services terms and conditions they can be restrictive with what you can do with your podcast later.

She said that, for most people who want to go to university, “you couldn’t get a commercial loan because you don’t have the credit history, you don’t have the collateral, you certainly wouldn’t be able to get something which you could write off if you don’t hit certain repayment thresholds”.

So exploiting people who have no choice then, nice.

IMO it's a fairly minor annoyance. Though I think if the forks allow a feature into their codebase and they wanted to disable by default they could, so that's on them. If you use a fork where that's the case then maybe emailing them to say these features should be disabled by default or even not merged at all would be more productive.

Yeah it seemed to work for me and would then hard lock the system between 24h and a week later requiring a manual power cycle. Several people experienced the same, we had a couple of issues on the frigate github but I don't think anyone ever figured out why. Definitely openvino on the igpu though, openvino on CPU was fine.

Maybe one of these?

On AliExpress: 12.7mm USB 2.0 DVD/CD-ROM Case , IDE/ PATA to SATA Optical Drive External Enclosure For Laptop https://a.aliexpress.com/_Evga3Y0

Looks like a high density IDE connector.

I'd shop around for similar products, not sure if you need USB, SATA or just big IDE.

The media witch-hunt worked then.

I mean yes she probably has done something wrong, maliciously or "honest mistake guv" I don't know, is the media the best place to get facts about it to judge for yourself, no. Even official enquiries are not particularly trustworthy these days.

The bigger issue is why somebody so central to government was allowed to screw up this badly, it reflects poorly on the party. Which is exactly why the media is running with it.
