I've opened it and adjusted the Dpad by partially covering the contacts with tape, and I swear it's the best Dpad I've ever used. I've also got an 8bitdo FC30 Pro but I rarely use it nowadays.

I haven't played my GameCube since it was current, but recently I installed the picoboot mod which lets me load games off of a microSD card. Haven't actually sat down to play anything yet but I've booted Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia just to confirm that it works 😎

Keeping Lithium-ion batteries at 100% charge will reduce their lifespan. They want to live in the 40-80% range. I use an app that notifies me when my phone has charged to 80%, so that I can unplug it. It may be overkill, but I plan to use this phone for 9 more years or so.
Mother 1 is my favorite, it's got such a unique atmosphere. Some of my more recent favorites include the Valis series (bishoujo action platformers), and Monster World IV (action platformer with light RPG elements). I'm big on aesthetics and those games really appealed to me!

Probably cold brew. It's a very forgiving brewing method and seems to come out great everytime.

The pads look intact, which makes it a much easier repair than it could have been.
