I remember this discussed in my economics class 20y ago.... Whether housewives work should be in GDP. One would hope economists move forward from there.
I use 3 numbered glass cuncumber jars: one with some mineral spirits (for paints), one with denaturated spirit (for household cleaning), one with alcohol (reused for acrylics). That's setup is for factor-greased chain but is reusable for rewaxing (but probably overkill). Just had to buy denaturated spirit! Shake in chain in each and it's dry & ready for rewax.
$30 crockpot from Amazon + cheap Gulf Wax from Walmart, cut with some Microcrystalline Wax from BW, is what works for.me... The worst enemy of the wax seems wet riding, which i avoid. I am experimenting with Teflon powder (I think it gave some improvement) and Molybdenum Dissulfate (meh, expensive...). Plus Squirt wax based chain lube (6 small drip containers) in case I go on a longer trip.
Often it is the hardware. One should check what is supported, the chipsets etc... Or just get Framework (or maybe a mainstream Dell). It's a pity they only do laptops....
I setup music with Clementine, and output analog via the jack. Surely there must be better way... But it was easy & I can choose songs to play from cellphone.
It's even easier with Brew: have terminal window open, type brew install librewolf & if MacOS complains, xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LibreWolf.app (for example to get a nice bland browser without corporate spyware). Every now and then, brew upgrade librewolf.
