I deleted my account as part of the Great Reddit Exodus of 2023 but have periodically visited the site since without an account.
Many of the posts I see now seem really sensationalist and almost like they were created by bots. Of course, maybe Reddit was always that way and it just some time being away for me to realize that.
I really just need the audio. I’ve watched older Trek so much that I’ve half-memorized the dialogue. It would be nice just to have the audio in the background while I’m working.
It looks like Lemmy.world communities do not get regularly indexed on search engines. Is this because of the system architecture, or is it for some other reason?
I really just want a TNG-era, post-Dominion War, post-Voyager series with mostly, if not all, new cast. Cameos now and then from TNG, DS9, and Voyager characters would be great but not essential.
There's tons of storytelling potential there with themes of recovering from a large-scale war to dealing with the power vacuum after the end of Romulus, so an Admiral Picard or Admiral Janeway cameo, for example, would be totally doable.
That's a good point. With the round shape you end up losing a lot of the cubby holes you have for storage in other RVs.
I like the lower weight and the higher resale value, but it almost seems like if we're going to spend any significant amount of time inside, it might be better to bite the bullet and get a larger truck.
I would love to see an announcement fora Zelda 1 and/or Zelda 2 remake with the BOTW engine.
How about a post-Voyager series?
This sort of thing would be a great tv show, like Rescue 911 back in the day.
So would a resident of this non-island be a nullist?
The price tag seems a bit high, but it would be fun to revisit these titles that I haven’t played in years!
I love the 90s aesthetic to your setup! It brings back memories for me of playing Doom on my Dell XPS 90 that sat on a rolltop type desk.
Paramount Plus Mexico just added TNG!

Thanks! I'll give that a shot!

Thanks! That place looks really neat and falls in nicely with a trip to White Sands that we are planning!
Reminds me of Mr Creosote.
East Liverpool and Circleville are almost 200 miles apart from each other.

Try it from old.reddit.com. That's what I had to do.

Buy a used travel trailer, hire someone with a truck to transport it for you. You can find rv parks with lot fees for 500-600 month plus electric.
Sorry, I couldn't even make it to the five minute mark. The editing job on this video was so jarring...
Great pictures! It's amazing what they were able to create so long ago with the tools that they had available at the time.
