Proton's easy switch will automatically import your emails on the new account. Then you can setup email forwarding to the proton address. I recommend getting a custom domain. Otherwise, if you again try to change the provider, you'll have to go through the same hassle.
I used to like Skiff a lot. But they were acquired by Notion all of a sudden. Then I had to change email of my every single online accounts. Had to go to the banks multiple times. Still haven't managed access to some websites.
I exposed the some applications using Pangolin and some using Cloudflare Tunnel. When I shutdown a VM, I can access applications in other vm using local IP (192.168.x.x) from my home network. But they seem to lose outside internet connection. Is this what what you wanted to know?

I was thinking about getting a USB Ethernet Adapter. Will it help me to resolve the issues easily?

I don't think MTU mismatch or CRC error is the root cause. So far, I haven't modified any proxmox settings. I've updated the post. ❤️
