It is possible to ingest PDFs via a consume folder. However consuming the files will cause them to be deleted. So I don't think this will be very helpful in your case. There is however a bulk upload feature in the UI, which allows uploading may PDFs at once.

They do not charge anything. However, your projects need to be open source in order to use Codeberg. Still you can self host the underlying Forgejo.

For a couple of reasons: 1. It's how I want to use the app, 2. it's the easiest way to support all platforms, 3. I am most familiar with web apps.
