on Now that Sync and Infinity are out, which do people prefer? Also, how do they compare to the existing lemmy apps? · c/android · 5 pts · 3yI've just installed the native app, and it's pretty snappy, definitely my favorite Lemmy app.
on How it feels as an iOS user right now · c/memes · 17 pts · 3ySync for Reddit was a popular app. After the whole API thing the dev started developing sync for Lemmy. The open beta was just released. The free version includes ads. You can remove ads with a subscription, or with a one time payment of $20. The Reddit ad free version was like $5, so the price increase pissed some people off. Also the FOSS or die people got pissed off. There are many great Lemmy apps, I say just use whatever works best for you.
on Voyager released to Google Play! · c/voyagerapp · 3 pts · 3yCan anyone comment and how's the battery performance of the native app compared to the PWA?
on Post launch day chat · c/syncforlemmy · 8 pts · 3yAgreed, $10 would've been an insta buy. At $20 I guess maybe I'll get it once v1.0 comes out, we'll see.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
on One-time payment for ad-free is live in Beta 25. It's $19.99 USD. Update your app if you don't see it. · c/syncforlemmy · 7 pts · 3yI think that's the price for the lifetime subscription. The one time payment to remove ads it's about $20.
on Sync for Lemmy is now available for everyone · c/android · 7 pts · 3yThe Dev said that he'll soon add the option of a one time purchase to remove ads.
