Disappointed that the cost will probably not make this a huge hit. I was hoping for an even bigger population taking up linux gaming! The more people the better for all of us
I have an OG one (Aug 2021) that ive upgraded to the AMD board years back. I am still pretty happy with its performance so ill hold off on the board and screen. However I do want the new bottom upgrade so I will be getting that for trackpad and speakers. I will also get a new CNC top cover because at this point mine is all dented now.
Im going to do the silver bottom kit and buy a CNC top cover. Prob the next pro upgrade cycle I’ll grab a board and screen cuz I'm pretty happy with my AMD still. 20hr battery life would be sick but its not that much of a game changer for me atm
If you want an obscure pick that you might not have played is Lost Kingdoms. There is also a sequel that wasn’t bad either. My brother and i played this game beginning to end and couldn’t keep off of it
One Linux you could, I.E. for a flatpak you could use flatseal (or manually do it via command line) to lock down what folders the flatpak can operate in. I just did this for Brave Browser.
There is also the software Bubblewrap that accomplishes the same. These are at the application level for the entire browser though.
Doesn’t quantum proof encryption exist already? I thought I learned that in college more than a decade ago… The only reason its not viable yet is because hardware was not powerful enough to run it without being slow.
I could be misremembering though its been a long time
Yup I hate it, and it’s all I get for my own retirement. They mandate we put our financial future / well being in Wallstreet stocks… hmmm I wonder who that grossly benefits?… I was born after all that shit was instituted and into this broken ass system

Use a real password manager people
I actually did both but if you had to choose one it is without a doubt the SSD. And it actually is quite easy to do, just take your time.
Excited for a better calendar and Linux Drive app. Everything else I am pretty happy with as is

These dorks care about the dumbest shit and not anything important
Second this, me and my friends have been using it since the day it came out (I am the one hosting it) and it checks all the boxes for us.
I was never able to get my group to switch away from Discord but this has finally done it
