Also, no countries (aside from UK and Ireland) practice common law (so France included). Most countries follow civil law where legislation does not follow from judicial decisions.

My apologies, I haven't read this entire post and just got hung at the first few lines. Observers can disagree on order of certain events but will not disagree on causal relationship of events: these cannot travel faster than light. Bells theorem excludes local hidden variables that would otherwise explain the behaviour seen in quantum entanglement experiments but does not allow for FTL exchange of information.

I think lot's of people here provide good input but clearly no one can answer that for you even if you had provided more detail. If this is a concern for you and not just a curiosity then it is worth while to sit with this question and live, in your mind, through the experience on what it means to finish a project.

A few questions (no need to answer them):

  • What does it mean for you if a friendship clicks and what is it about fittng in that you say is lacking?
  • If social interactions leave you joyless, are you finding joy in other situations?
  • What do you value in friendships aside from shared interests or common opinions?

Obviously he is interested in human capital

Why is that obvious? These are means to an end: annexing Ukraine to extend his country for him to be called Putin the great in history books and when that became unattainable to grab as much territory and resources as possible and when this is unattainable scorch as much of it as possible. We see similar shifting goal strategy in the Iran war. Seems common for autocrats to display petulance. Your claim somewhat presupposes that Putin is at all concerned for the wellbeing and prosperity of his people and country and I see no evidence of that at all.

Addendum edit: If you follow the Putin leaning media and keep track of the villages and towns that have been "liberated" by the Russians it is worth while to see how that settlement looks following the Russian treatment and those look not unlike Gaza. Both Netanyahu and Putin use violence and destruction as a mean to will other people to give up their land for them. It's just that Ukraine is so much larger than Gaza (and other surrounded territories not yet part of Israel). What I find heartbreaking is not the support Ukraine is getting from other countries and the condemnation of Putins actions but the lack of accountabilities vis-a-vis the war crimes committed by Israel.

Like others say: tail flapping indicates something bothered him. But (assuming he's looking at you holding the camera when he briefly looks up) you're not the reason. He checks you out and seems to conclude you're alright. The way he positions himself also indicates you're not a threat but wants to keep his eyes on you regardless (or the scene behind you). I might be wrong, I'm not a licensed cat psychologist.

Is his loss not better attributed to his opponents lack of support for Israel as opposed to his contribution to the Russian interference investigations? Someone correct me if I misunderstand this situation.

He will MitchMcConnel the presidency and be president for life - post mortem. No one will see him and whatever dark forces are present will pull the strings. His asinine social posts will continue by LLM and this will be the justification of his existence. The supreme Court will establish his beyond 4 years / 2 term limitation. I should become a horror story writer.

Oh but he works incredibly hard: to maintain the illusion that makes him appear better than he is and he works hard to convince himself of it. Lack of work does not lead a person to become like him, rather the lack of validation of parents or guardian. I imagine that daddy business man only ever praised him for certain accomplishments if they aligned with the father's own priorities and ignored his child otherwise in his needs. He evolved this way to optimise for the benefit of his relationship with his parents. It's a tale as old as time of daddy issues.

Breaking this illusion by the means of which you wrote, in what it is that makes him superior, will only lead to his suffering and will not bring about any constructive change but I understand that this is something you desire: his reign leaves us all feeling with a lack of justice and accountability.
