I use it too. Used to use Trakt but that seems to go the enshittification route right now so I figured I might try yamtrack/floppy. Ended up using floppy cause it has file import from Trakt and not just the discontinued API.
For me it's just a handy way to keep track of what tv shows I've watched and which ones I still intend to watch.
The difference is the wide range of products available on Amazon. I can buy 5 products from widely different areas and only pay shipping once (or maybe twice depending on availability).
If I were to order these 5 products on 5 different stores I'd pay 5 times shipping.

While there are star trackers (devices you mount your camera to to follow the movement of the stars) usually you have a steady camera and then align the images in post-processing with a program like Sequator, StarStax or Siril (other paid options also available).
The main problem with IRC is that it isn't asynchron, like I can write something now and a friends only comes only tomorrow to check up on me messages.
I mean yes there are/were bouncers when I last used irc but if I remember correctly that's just not the same...
From my understanding it only adds an layer in front of your IBAN (either phone number or mail address). There are no additional features (like buyer protection) cause they aren't an payment processor themselves, it's only normal bank transfers (Echtzeitüberweisungen).
Edit: that's also why banks have to explicitly support it, whereas PayPal just works with any bank.
Adding to that, Wero is trying to change the need for exchanging IBANs to just using phone numbers. Imo this is not a good thing tho but I guess in the current day and age it's the way to go.
Allegedly there also will be a way to use a mail address but apparently depends on the bank (some banks implement Wero in their normal banking app while others implement it using the Wero app).
But while it's a nice initiative it's far from comparative to PayPal for example (things like payment protection etc won't happen in Wero).
I'm not sure whether it makes sense trying to discuss with you but let's try...
You couldn't know how much traffic you saved because you didn't load the ad. The ad could be 1KB, 1MB or 1GB, but because you didn't load it you wouldn't know it's size. Without knowing it's size, you wouldn't be able to calculate the savings.
As mentioned somewhere is in the thread you would have to directly compare two machines visiting the same pages and even then it's probably only approximate because both machines might get served different ads.

And sometimes you are the external person being invited... And then you'll need Teams regardless of your own meeting solution...
