I got into a sampler coffee from my local roaster, and it turned out to be one of the best light roast coffees I've ever had. Flavours are orange, huckleberry and vanilla custard! Sipping it right now, and still shocked at how much brighter it is than my usual medium roast.
Out in my corner of the world, late September is not lake season. On Sunday, I was able to go for a paddle in 27C. Freaking stunning weather, my light paddle turned into a 4.5km misadventure! Got to see some pelicans and terns 😊

If I may take a leap, I'd go so far as to suggest the concept of completed development is proooobably a misnomer at best. Have you seen how adults act? Just children with life experience.
The brain doesn't stop developing, it perpetually adapts to its current environment. It's the reason forgetting is as valuable as learning - if it's no longer helping you, it gets cut to make room for new info. Survival only cares about keeping you alive to the next moment, not so much your maturity level relative to a younger generation

Even then, they were mindful of some of the weaknesses of their grand design
