Sent my wife a slow cooked Korean beef recipe the Instagram algorithm served up.
She ran with it and churned out a Pak choy mushroom vermicelli noodle soup, fried cabbage in sesame based sauce and the previously mentioned slow cooked gochujang beef.
So lucky she likes to cook! May not look the best but tasted great
Throwing in my recommendations and limiting it to sleeper shows that don't get recommended much. (The expanse, silo, foundation, arcane, severance etc already get lots of love). They aren't all must watch but worth checking out, particularly the first 3
Mr Inbetween - Aussie show about a hit man that plays out like an incredible slice of life.
Sense8 - sci fi based show based around 8 people who find themselves linked. It's weird, LGBTQ friendly & forward and has some explicit scenes.
The goes wrong show - BBC theatre piece. Amateur theatre company attempt plays. Each actor has their own quirks, faults and confidence issues. Chaos ensues, the show must go on.
------ other decent stuff in case 3 top tier isn't enough
Almost human - cancelled early formula show of he's a cop but his partner's an X (in this case android). Had humans vibes and good chemistry
3 body problem - sci fi adaptation from prominent Chinese author
I don't know if it's still valid but when I did bronze med yes, there was an approach position with one raised leg to kick or splash if needed that was taught.
Drowning people will often try to climb on you and shove you under to breath. If splashing and keeping distance with a foot fails you hold your breath and dive. They will let go and try to get back to air.
The general chain of preferences was: reach>throw>wade>row>swim>tow
Reach with a stick or something if you can avoid getting in.
On point dialogue. You think you're getting something different but it's just an incredibly good slice of life. Was scrolling to make sure it was mentioned
The 100 had a lot of wasted potential.
Season 2 of Wayward Pines was also a terrible idea
That's the most common one I call my wife, and I'm salty potato
Don't forget eucla time for even more confusion

Community - some people seem to have missed it
You're the worst - a show about terrible people

Throw a flotation aid or rope
Wade out and throw a flotation aid or rope
Use a boat or board etc if available
Swim out with a flotation aid
Swim out and tow them in while swimming.
I use calibre web for this. It is a bit funky to setup though depending on your level of experience. Here's a guide to look over https://jccpalmer.com/posts/setting-up-kobo-sync-with-calibre-web/
Factorio on peaceful settings is pretty calm
Yeah but it was pretty clear the Wachowskis didn't want it made and Lana only did it because they would have done it with or without them.
You'd think that but it depends mostly on where the vehicle is manufactured.
Outside indicator would be my preference for sure
That's kinda the point 😅
I hate having to switch between the two. Would rather leave it to muscle memory
Think for me it's probably the expanse for how well suited the opening and theme is to expressing the vibe of the show.
https://youtu.be/aoemQv0LYhk
Other shows I'd rate the theme music/opening vibe favourably include:
The 4400 (2004 version)
Battlestar Galactica
Community
Foundation
Flight of the Conchords
Halt and catch fire
Mandalorian
Silo
Westworld
Savage
It's not felt so much like panic buying to me as everyone trying to buy on the cheap day of the week to maximise savings causing massive lines.
Walked down the park today and the line for the nolla servo was round the block.
Yep, I came from QC 35 IIs and everything but the noise cancelling quality has felt the same or a downgrade 😔
Will admit the hinges on my QC ultra headphones have been pretty good.
The things that annoy me about them are:
Unable to switch off noise cancellation
The earphone cushions fell apart after 6 months
Custom button action can't toggle an aware mode
On head play pause was buggy enough to turn the feature off
They semi regularly decide to reboot in the middle of calls and meetings
I'm assuming you are retail and not on the design / software side of things but if you have any power to pass the feedback up the chain plz do ❤️
I'll second Mr Inbetween.

You share a lot of my taste and made me check the peripheral but it was only one season like I thought.
Have you seen:
The expanse
Sense8
Ascension (3 ep mini series)
Impulse (jumper universe that felt a bit closer to the vibe of the books than the movie did)
Wayward Pines season one was also ok
