In Germany, there's a cookbook written by someone who only used Aldi ingredients. It's called "Aldi dente" and focuses on cheap and delicious meals. It's a couple of years old by now so Idk if it'd still works but might be worth looking at.
I have one plant outside in my garden in Germany. Started from a supermarket fruit 1,5 years ago. Put it outside in April which caused it some stress, but I think that's what initiated the fruit to grow. How do you all induce fruiting?

Nice! If you're in a cold climate, you might want to look into overwintering that pepper plant. If done right they can live for years 🙂
