Now we just need this reflected in the response to grannies being handcuffed for clapping at Palestine Action protests. The Labour government needs to be raked over the coals for this.
I work in the financial industry in the uk, we have to declare everything in our financials and have strict rules on gifts over £25 in value, how to declare them, what it's not allowed, etc.
How the fuck is this not the same for politicians? We obviously see the danger to our economy of bribery and influence. How do we not do the same in running the fucking country! How is this even a question!
He's using the by-election to pause the investigation into his finances, and hoping to use an election win as a mandate and proof that he did nothing wrong, because a crook could never win a fair election, right?!
The only way the other parties can respond to this, which is what they're all now doing, is to not stand a candidate, thereby no vote is cast that can be used as Farage's mandate/retribution, and the investigation will continue, which will hopefully lead to him being removed from his seat, and a proper by-election will then be run.
Basically, Farage is once again trying to distract from his wonton corruption by playing political theatre, distracting the masses, and giving himself a way to save face, or even turn it around to a win.
They know why it's so bad. The last time they go so much shit, they completely rebranded the company to get away from the name Hermes. This is about stopping the message and sending a warning. Unfortunately for them, the Streisand Effect is real.
I've been using graphene for over a year now, had used stock android since the HTC g1. Honest answer, graphene is stock without the annoyances, and finer grained security configuration. Major frustration is banking apps/no google pay, but since I switched banks (which I did because my old bank funds Israel) the new app works perfectly fine, so your milage may vary. Lack of google pay is inconvenient only if I leave my wallet at home, which is rare. Otherwise, it's rare that something is broken just because it's graphene, and if it is, the forums usually have the answer.
This is the same institute that used generative ai to write a report about how our government could save money by replacing large parts of the civil service with generative ai, and did not disclose that they'd used ai in generating the report. They are scum who are working in the interests of billionaires and against the interests of the country.
The actual barbeque is in good nick, and I've cleaned it with an industrial degreaser, so not much can survive that. The enamel is perfect and no discolouration from any visible chemicals spills, it's just a well used BBQ that was left in the rain unprotected for too long.
My friend is coming round to help me drill a few holes in it and add some steel brackets to hold the grill. Should achieve what we need without major damage to the enamel, so I'm happy with that.
Two games have made me cry, the first is the ending to Final Fantasy IX, the realisation of who was speaking the monologue at the end, and what that meant for that character was so well done. After 45+ hours with those characters, the emotional release, I was just bawling and I still had to go to school!
The other was What Remains of Edith Finch, which is an absolute masterclass in storytelling. Each scene in that game is a mini dark humoured tragedy of each of Edith's family members, that culminates in the revelation of Edith's impetus for this journey through her family's tragic history that she's now undertaking. In those final moments of the game, after only about 4 hours of gameplay, this game grabbed at my heartstrings and I was sobbing like a baby. My partner of the time asked what was wrong and all I could say was "it's just so sad!" Fantastic game, well worth playing even now.
The correct way to eat a scone is to use two forks (not a knife, we will know) to slice the scone in two. You may optionally grill the inside, but it should not get any additional colour from the grill, it's just to warm it up. You may then butter it with room temperature butter, and optional not optional top it with clotted cream and jam (the order of these two ingredients is hotly debated). Enjoy one of the England's finest afternoon fancies alongside a nice, hot cup of tea. 🇬🇧
The door was already open and this guy shut it.

I also blocked them, no point wasting my bandwidth.
With how prone to infections my skin is, I wouldn't get anywhere near this, unless I wanted to become a mycelium/human hybrid.
They won't do that. They're also greedy racist fascists. That's what capitalism is.

Everyone loves a log!
Thank god, I never wanted to hear her shrill bigotry again, she sounded like a celibate fog horn sucking on a kazoo. Just going to town on it.

Tony Blair can fuck off.

Flared base. Approved.

No doubt enjoy this movie with edibles, smokables, or whatever you have on hand
As long as your pinkie is extended, then it's fine.
