This is good, but I wish projects like this, and Europe in general would look wider than Europe. There are many in the rest of the world and Americans too, who are aching to be freed from anti-democratic, unregulated oligarchic big tech.
Edit: A WSP (World Search Perspective), started and owned by Europeans, could aim to index everything, and be real competition to Google and Bing. There isn’t any real prospect that every country or region could do this for themselves.

As time passed, and History got devalued as a subject in favour of technology subjects, I guess it was always inevitable that people would lose awareness of what Fascism is, and why it should not be allowed to return.
This is just defeatism. Not all politicians are corrupt. And even corrupt ones also have to respond to other kinds of pressures, if those are strong enough. Defeatism is what makes democracy die.
