I just bought a 1972 tractor to work my vegetable garden. I've already learnt to service it, i've changed the clutch (took me 3 months on and off ... its bloddy 4 tonne gear). Just to say that the future is sbout diy. Government control, robotics and inflation all force you to rethink your life model and that of your family. Invest in a small piece of land and become self sufficient. Its hard work but its life changing.
I second this post. I'm stil on Pixel 5 accepting the risk that comes with it. But why should i get rid of a working phone. This is insane. We are creating so much waste just to fuel the capitalists extravagant life. This is why i cant wait to see linux on phone. It will mean dumping Google forever
I've been thinking about this lately as i was intending to build a 3 node cluster with proxmox. I still need to understand what happens when one node fails and how tbe othes handle exposing services. If the ip changes, bookmarks wont work. So i thought an inter al domain would be the sol

CoMaps is the only lightweight and simple app that i can get my wife to use on GOS. Pretty good. Organic Maps disappointing. Osmand too many features for someone that just needs to get from a to b. Didnt know that ut could run on linux.
