The Vatican do have a 54 seat movie theater. Part of the Vatican film library that was founded in 1957, the theater was renovated at 2005 (after this 1993 panel) but I could not find at date when the original projection hall was opened. And just like the comics, the pope do visit it from time to time (this one from 2022).
This was in the 1990s, the panel is from 1980. More likely the 1976, Norwegian trawler Sjøvik fishing gear caught a submerged Soviet November-class nuclear submarine.
At start the house was annoyed with its new owners, running away when they didn't notice or rattling while they tried to sleep.
With time it came fond of them, waiting for them at the forest entrance when they went to the village, and made sure no predator forget its place. It was older than time and missed having nice owners.
