I'm all for reducing traffic, but yeah, how is this not at least partially regressive? Folks who can only afford to live in New Jersey but then have to work in NYC now have yet another new expense.
But maybe I'm not aware of just how ubiquitous subway stations are in New Jersey that go into NYC. Would it be an easy transition?
I agree on Syncthing's UI, and it did take me some time to understand it and get it working right. But I could only get LocalSend to accept files on my Pixel from my PC when I had the app open. Even with quick save turned on, it wouldn't accept the file without having the app open. But maybe that's the point of LocalSend? More deliberate file sharing?
My issue with Droid-ify is that at least half the time updates or initial installations hang indefinitely, and even the Cancel button doesn't do anything. I've gone back to F-Droid as this has never happened to me on that app.
So I'm itching to download the latest Android 14 Beta since it's very close to stable.
If after my phone also eventually updates to the final public version of Android 14, can I somehow opt out of future beta updates without having to wipe my phone?
What do you suggest for cloud storage?

Sadly it's unusable on Android 15. All of the interactable functions are crammed up into the status bar and cannot be touched.
I just learned today that they got taken down. 😔
I'm a big fan of Kagi.

Could I see your folder of 20 things?
I'm new to the scene. If a raid isn't a backup, then what is?
I thought the abbreviation for pounds (lbs) stood for "lullables."
I have no idea why.

Any reason to use LocalSend over Syncthing?
Librewolf (Firefox fork) for personal and Iridium (Chromium based) for work.
I'm new to the scene. Is there anything other than the org?

Hmm. I'll check it out. Thanks!
Fucking criminal.

Would looove this as a feature. 😁
