One thing you may want to explore is your OS. If you want to do what you suggested with a NAS OS like TrueNAS or Unraid. They can take advantage of a ssd cache. One small regular ssd for your OS, storage on your hdd array, and a NAS quality ssd that essentially runs your docker containers that gets backed up to your array.

It's not nessesary. But if it's something you think you might want to do in the future, you'll want a plan for it now. Make sure you have enough mobo connections, and space in your case or an idea on how you would want to expand.

I believe by replying to my comment, per Lemmy rules, totally not mine. You've contractually agreed to putting at least 5, but no more than 100 rainbow stickers on the inside of your case.

Yes, you may call them "RGB".

Yes, they make your NAS go faster.

Yes, they improve airflow, but only when oriented correctly.

No, they don't make you less straight. They're "closeted" officially.

It likely also needs an ip address range to determine what is "local" for you. Is it 192.168.1.0\24, 10.0.0.0\24 or something else. Unsure what that flag would be though for slskd.

You cast polymorph on your enemies to put them at a disadvantage.

I cast polymorph to be cute so witches give me scritches.

We are not the same.

You should always be concerned with changes in behavior with novice summoners. He might be slightly possessed by a parasite demon or majorly possessed by a slut demon (related to an incubus).

I recommend drawing an incomplete banishing circle around your bed before tonight. If he asks why the bed is in the middle of the room gaslight him and tell him it's just a new carpet. Distract him as you see fit. Cookies or a new buy a new orb polish and offer to polish his orb.

Once he's in bed and asleep, sneak out of bed and complete the banishing circle.

If that doesn't work, then I can only recommend a transfiguration potion for couples. You drink it, and you turn into his deepest fantasy. (Make sure to get the one that only changes physical aspects temporarily!) That will tell you more than he will. As will his reaction.

Let us know what happens!

I mean there's the Iron Dome the US helped fund for Isreal. It's a short range air defense system. It's not built for offense, and wouldn't work well for it from what I understand.

But even that there's still the 'self-defense' mentality where the iron dome could shoot down non-combatants flying within range because of a supposed threat.

I mean anything is possible, however those are two very unlikely pairings. Iran is majority Islam. Mormons believe in the christian trinity (though not the way normal christians believe in them).

Different gods, diffefent religious texts, different religious practices. They both like to oppress women in the name of god, but, so do most religions, so I doubt that's enough to form a solid enough of a bond to convince the Mormons to attack the usa. I'm a former mormon, so one little fun fact, the usa is the mormon's holy land. They believe the second coming is going to happen in Missouri, and they own large swaths of land there where they believe Jesus will decend.

Not for gaming so much after ssds got big and cheap, but on NAS Operating Systems like Unraid and TrueNAS, (and likely others) you have a pool of hard drives that do big data storage. Like you pointed out IO is slow. So to speed things up you have an ssd setup as cache. Typically you have the programs you have running are running off that ssd cache. It does IO to the ssd and you setup a slow scheduled replication to the hdd pool.

Right? I'm still pissed off about the PS3. I owned a PS1 and a PS2. PS3 launched and before I could save up enough money, two awesome features that the PS3 launched with they pulled support for. At launch you could boot to linux and you could play PS2 games. They disabled both before I could buy one. Huge class action lawsuit if I remember correctly. But they keep pulling the same shit.

Nobody was really answering, but steamos makes tweaking the effeciency easy. It should be like the steam deck where you can tweak the tdp limit for the cpu and setting clock speed for the gpu. I believe this currently only works with amd cpu/gpu, but I believe they're working with nvidia.

Interesting. Someone else in the comments mentioned brewing at home. They filled a keg with water, hooked up CO2 and used a kegerator to make their carbonated water. Not sure about the specifics, but that might work.

I've looked into buying commercial soda fountains used from resteraunts. But even the smaller ones with only like 4 spigots are espensive, and remembering from my fast food days, you're supposed to clean them daily.

But I can absolutely see the appeal of a Kurrig like experience but with soda.
