Right? That runs through my mind so often nowadays. It's about to the point I may just actually start taking pills so I'm fucked up enough to not notice all the fucked-up shit going on around me.
For instance, this is what the US Navy did with part of the first Seawolf, SSN-575.
Here's the referenced bit for anyone curious:
On 18 April 1959, the Navy disposed of the radioactive S2G plant by sealing it in a 30-foot (9.1 m) high stainless steel containment vessel, towing it out to sea on a barge, and then sinking the barge at a point about 120 miles (190 km) due east of Maryland in 9,100 feet (2,800 m) of water. Twenty-one years later, the Navy was unable to relocate the container, but said that the radioactive materials inside should decay before the containment vessel deteriorated.
This was a good post! I think everyone would benefit from reflecting on how (and how much) they spend their time; both online and off. Kudos! :)
It also introduced me to Bubbles for the first time. It looks like a great way to find more neat posts from smaller personal blogs and sites, which I love! Thank you for that!
How neat! I just signed up, not really expecting anyone to be nearby just yet. Turns out there's one other user in my entire state, and we chose the same city. What are the odds?
I probably do that every day that I interact with others, multiple times a day, but I'm not 100% sure, because I can't remember. ADHD & autism & a bunch of other neuro/cognitive issues is a hell of a mess of a mix. 🙃
Okay but what happens to his girlfriend's poor cat???
I'm interested in checking these books out, but I'm a big weenie who can't handle anything bad happening to innocent animals. And I'm not exactly mentally stable lately -- lol -- so I'm currently trying to avoid anything like that that could send me spiraling. (I know it sounds ridiculous and I'm working on getting help, I promise lol)
So, uh... Can anyone tell me if there's any bad stuff happening to any animals (like the aforementioned kitty???) in these books? 😅
Holy cow. What a great way to break your neck and die painfully and horrifically in front of a bunch of families with little children, lmao. What a madman!
I love this community, by the way. It's right up my alley. I <3 random weirdo bizarre stuff.
Yeup. And then there's tons of people like me, who desperately need and can't afford healthcare here, but can't even afford to do the cheaper option of going to another country for it. We just get to suffer as our bodies fall apart and rot, while we feel it all. It's just not right. Obviously, people are going to be pissed about it! If these big health insurance executives weren't so deep into their own little separate world, or maybe had a spread of empathy, they'd realize that. But, no... they'd rather hurt and kill countless people for a bit more money. But there's no prison time for them. No consequences at all, until Luigi.
SAVE HER!!!! :(

Aww! Such helpful little ratties! <3 I love these cute little bunny drawings! I appreciate this bot that shares them here and it's creator.
(My autocorrect changed "ratties" to "titties" and I nearly didn't catch it before I hit post... D'oh!)

Aww!! Hi sweet Hanky!! <3
I fear I'd do anything Hank asked me to do without hesitation. I'd kill, if Hank wanted me to. He's a powerful pup!
Oh, how cute! And they're so well done! I love them, and I bet your kitty does, too. Lucky kitty! :)

I hope this catches on, it seems cool!
What babe?
Thank goodness! I'm glad, although I really should have guessed that, given how powerful she clearly is. <3

She sounds incredible. Please tell her I love her.

Aww, poor stick bug! </3 At least they've got Janet on their side.
This is so super stinkin' cute! Well done! I love it! And thank you both for sharing it with us, and for the smile it gave me :)
