Sync for Reddit was a very popular 3rd party client for Reddit, as it had a lot of great features and an amazing design.

Now that 3rd party apps are gone, the dev is making a Lemmy version, and everybody is hyped up for when it comes out.

Memmy is very good, I’ve been using it as my main. Thunder also looks promising, testing that out now. Wefwef is nice but has no compact view so I haven’t used it much. It’s impressive how well it works for being a web app, but I need a compact view to actually use it.

There has been a test flight version of Sync for Reddit for a while. I still have it on my account, but not sure how updated it really is vs Android.

So maybe iOS eventually does get Sync for Lemmy as well

Not just similar, it IS the Sync for Reddit with the Reddit part gutted off. Looking at the version number in the screenshot, the last version of Sync for Reddit was also v23. Which means it's going to be perfect.
