Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.” They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away. You know who weren’t nice people? Resisters.
I'd probably want you dead too if I knew you were a sentient squirrel capable of time travel that wasn't actively using it's power to change our present for the better.
But when it comes from someone whose politics align with the paper they’ll just say it, it’s a small and effective rhetorical manipulation I’ve seen everywhere thanks to ground.news
