i once heard a poem read on Radio Alhara.

"rage is bread if it keeps you alive."

i never found out who wrote it, but damn, it was powerful.

doesn't AI need like 96 gigs of ram to be comparable in quality (or lack there of, depending on how you view it) yo the commercial options?

My boss throws a tantrum if anybody is late to his weekly hour long meetings. He spends the first 30 minutes talking about football and asking us what our favorite dishes are.

My management has fallen in love with it, but is considering dropping because the commercial fees to use copilot haven't seen a return on investment.

Out of the 3 people at my company who pay for chat gpt or grok, the 2 chat gpt users are too reliant on it, while the grok user believes he is talking to a living super intelligence.

I tried it once. The interview ended about 2 minutes later and I did not get the job. The rejection email said it was because I wasn't forthcoming.

As much as I hate not being able to blame liberals for something, they aren't the ones who dropped the ball on protecting trans people here.

A third of the electorate sat out of the election. 6 million Biden voters decided to not vote for a woman. Here on Lemmy, during the election, the entire website became leftists posting about how they will not under any circumstances vote for Kamala or any democrat as long as the Palestinian Genocide was happening.

Many of us told them the genocide would expand in Palestine under Trump, and many of us told them we would have a trans Genocide within our own country if they did not hold the line.

The far left overwhelmingly chose trans genocide, and is now telling the people they ensured would be removed from power that it is their job to protect trans lives.

Clearly we are all in this together when it comes to protecting trans lives, but we need to be very clear that the far left and their principles did set trans rights back generations.

I think there needs to be a higher emphasis on real life community building instead of recreating the services that destroyed communities.

We don't need another twitter clone. We need a marketplace and volunteer organizing software.
