Who doesn't love beavers? They are a major keystone species of the environment. Beaver ponds force more water to the aquifer, helps the local area survive droughts, and provide new aquatic homes. Beavers will create little irrigation canals that helps water local areas.
Beavers are awesome, they're also have the unfortunate combination of being cute and territorial. They're quite dangerous, so if you ever spot one, give it space.

No? Most of my recommendations are popular shit I hate. How can I get more obscure recommendations?

Conservatives hate wetlands, so they also hate beavers. I wish I was kidding or grossly oversimplifying, but it's the truth.

post10 claims not to hate beavers, but there are reasons to doubt that.

Beavers are like the spiders in your bathroom at 3 am. Yes you are useful but not in this context.

I saw this in my youtube recommendations just a couple of minutes before seeing this post, seems like it got the blessing of the algorithm.
