Ha! Ohhh my god, the first thing I asked when I realized that I didn't fit into the plan. "What if I don't really feel all that much like fucking anybody? Do I still fit into the divine plan then, if this supposed sacred urge prone to corruption is almost completely absent in me?"
It was the first time I asked a question that didn't have any answer, because these 'godly men' gifted with 'discernment and understanding' could not FATHOM the idea of someone who wasn't horny.
By the time questions about falling in love with women and gender dysphoria came around, I was loooong gone.
Sex was used as a means of social control. By making premarital sex taboo and shameful, it forces people who want to have sex to get married.
Marriage historically was a convention controlled by the church. You could largely only get married with the approval of the church or temple, which meant they could control who you were having babies with, creating castes.
Also because sex is fun, it’s a reason to abide all the other bullshit we’d be like “naw, not doing that” over.

You can be as asexual as you want, as long as you pop out babies! After all, you're not supposed to enjoy sex, that's for sinners!

I honestly wonder:
if you compared the premarital sex that resulted in marriages vs. people married before conjugal relations - who had more kids?
something tells me it might be the first....

I’m not sure what your point is?
