The front panel saying ‘Pawz’ could be removed so the carrier could be pushed forward between the struts (and secured with a strap) but the frame would be too narrow to allow that.
I meant sticking a standard plastic airline style carrier in underneath for the second boy, so they’re separated and can’t punch on.
But I think even if modified for more room the dimensions of metal frame wouldn’t allow that
Edit. This is what I mean. The smaller fabric shelf and front Pawz panel could be removed and replaced with a larger shelf, if it was large and rectangular enough to hold a standard plastic carrier. Like these for under rollators or wheelchairs.
But the room below might not be enough and could cause issues if the bottom carrier was riding too low.
And the width of the plastic carrier might be too much to slip between the pram legs for that little extra room for the top front edge.
Yeah it can be a bumpy ride. It really annoys me that you can’t change the wheels.
They do come off and you may have a slim chance at replacements off eBay. But the wheels themselves can’t come off to be replaced with something that has more shock absorption or traction. The double set of wheels are riveted together onto rectangular metal sleeves that click onto the legs of the frame.
At least they’re solid wheels so you can’t get a flat. 😔
I have considered stretching larger tyres over them as if they were inner tubes but that would require guesswork to buy tyres online that might not fit well.
I’m not a car or bike person but I’d think you’d have to consider both diameter and width.
And because it’s mostly welded in one piece you can’t even do anything with shock absorbers or an axel.
I could remove the rivets by damaging them and re-rivet some different wheels in but that’s a last resort repair. Don’t have the energy for all that.
I basically just put extra padding in the capsule to help cushion the cat and went carefully.
Little Old Dog was sedated on Monday for Xrays and is still quite wobbly. He’s a little more lost than usual (this morning he got stuck between a bookcase and a wall in an area of the house he rarely ventures to), so it’s time to Senile Dog proof the house. Poor littlest love!

I showed him pictures I'd taken and said is it likely to be a form of Pityriasis. He agreed it could be, but said he wouldn't like to guess. Funny, he didn't mind guessing it was Impetigo and had me take antibiotics for a week while I was petrified I had an infectious disease. I said seeing as I've been using cortisone on it and it's helping, can I get a script for more (I'm using miniest's tube and it's almost ran out) and he ummed and ahhed about that and said that because he wasn't sure what it was he didn't really want to prescribe anything. As for the specialist, $365 is absolutely no dice. It's just not doable. It's already cost me a day's pay for this.

It isn't psoriasis is it? That responds to cortisone (I think) and is caused by everything from simple stress to other shitty diseases. If you send me a pic I can see if it looks like my psoriasis lol I think you still have my mobile number.
The Dr prolly is hesitant to prescribe cortisone without knowing what it is, as cortisone can make it worse. But if it's helping... 🤷🏼♀️

I'm not sure how much of your body it might be over but you might either be able to get away with some low level cortisone or maybe behind the counter from the chemist that might help.
It's weird isn't it. When I got the herald patch there wasn't any discomfort at all. Then the other rash started, and my goodness I showered too enthusiastically with a rough flannel but did it feel good.
I took quick warm baths. I moisturised. I wore soft cotton t shirts and I ate a lot of antihistamines. Second time around wasn't so bad and it was a much quicker recovery. I haven't had it since.
I have a new unopened tube of cortisone cream I can peel my info off of if you have a PO Box to send it to? And could collect it as PeelerSheila…

Crowd actually felt quite tense until the protester decided to leave the venue. Just seemrd like an odd choice by the protester. Buy a ticket then wait until the final encore acoustic song to have their have their say in such an aggressive manner and tone....
Yeah well, the protester didn't want to miss out on the show. There's no point in protesting during the first song and getting escorted out. Palestine is super important and all - but not worth missing out on the whole gig!

Day off for uni, working from home, trying not to have a total wobble over feeling like maybe this was all a mistake. I'm in too deep now! But as I get older I certainly find myself craving security over novelty and excitement. Kinda sad because I feel like I am shrinking as a person. It's not too late to claw back a sense of wonder and discovery though.
You're right about life and phases, I do sometimes think that our trajectories are fixed but they don't have to be, although age is certainly something I can't ignore.

Plex migration update: Gave up on Debian, installed Mint. Mint installed great, more options in the GUI this looks promising. It wants an update, no worries go for, reboot aaaaaand it no longer boots.

Ha this is me but with Emby. It has a very simple interface on the Google TV without all the recommendations and extras and bells and whistles and is the one my non-techie wife likes best, so it was my job to mould the server to suit it :/
I'm running the server in a Debian VM, no GUI installed at all, very bare-bones. Wasn't TOO hard to get set up once Debian was mounting the NAS share properly and it's been set-and-forget for years now.

There's a life hack where you can buy food from a super market and just put the seeds from the food in dirt then boom, free food. Unless you're doing exotics, they're very low maintenance to the point where keeping them under control and not having too much food is the hardest problem.
Also, there's nothing stopping you or your nephew moving abroad for a far lower cost of living. South America is beautiful, Japan has cheap houses with land, and so on.
Lol, I meant teach them that they have options and doors that are always open unless they have a criminal record. I'm an immigrant and moved here on a whim and grow food, you should try growing food it tastes like love. When your nephew is 18 they can do whatever they want providing that they have someone like you supporting them that it's OK to do that.

(At least in the western world). Better healthcare, less racism, less homophobia, more awareness of mental health issues, taking domestic violence seriously, etc. I think your nephew is lucky in one aspect - never underestimate how important it can be in a kids life to have a plain speaking uncle/aunt who might tell them about world perspectives their parents may not.
Wasn't able to do my first aid class last week, but was put into the other class for it this week. In class today and tomorrow so I have to catch up on the theory classes tomorrow, over the weekend.

And there's nothing more I love than going to campus when it's spring. Thankful my animal course is at the same place they do horticulture. Day off for uni, working from home, trying not to have a total wobble over feeling like maybe this was all a mistake. I'm in too deep now! But as I get older I certainly find myself craving security over novelty and excitement. Kinda sad because I feel like I am shrinking as a person. It's not too late to claw back a sense of wonder and discovery though.

You're right about life and phases, I do sometimes think that our trajectories are fixed but they don't have to be, although age is certainly something I can't ignore.
It would be nice to have had this period of huge instability after I got through this hurdle, but c'est la vie. I may be very far from finding housing stability but least I have a lot more of a fallback than I used to. Namely the right to live here permanently.

Frustrating experience today with being led astray with google maps. Ended up driving and wasting so much time this afternoon through so much roadworks.
Might have been easier to pay for postage next time considering the petrol wasted.

Anyone else noticed generic brands being out of stock a lot at Colesworths?
First the generic peanut butter was out of stock for quite a long time, the generic paper cat litter is still unavailable, now it’s the decaf instant coffee and cocoa powder. And the prices are still a gouge.
If it was more possible for me I’d be predominately shopping at Aldi

Plex migration update: Gave up on Debian, installed Mint. Mint installed great, more options in the GUI this looks promising. It wants an update, no worries go for, reboot aaaaaand it no longer boots. You have got to be shitting me linux. Installed windows, replaced plex files and looks to have completely failed. Gave up in frustration and went to bed.

Ha this is me but with Emby. It has a very simple interface on the Google TV without all the recommendations and extras and bells and whistles and is the one my non-techie wife likes best, so it was my job to mould the server to suit it :/
I'm running the server in a Debian VM, no GUI installed at all, very bare-bones. Wasn't TOO hard to get set up once Debian was mounting the NAS share properly and it's been set-and-forget for years now.

I heard Ubuntu isnt popular due to snaps integration. The whole point is a lightweight build to try improve the plex experince so probably not ideal.

Been awhile since I've used 7-11 fuel lock but they've capped the discount to 25c a litre now which effectively makes the discount useless.

There's a life hack where you can buy food from a super market and just put the seeds from the food in dirt then boom, free food. Unless you're doing exotics, they're very low maintenance to the point where keeping them under control and not having too much food is the hardest problem.
Also, there's nothing stopping you or your nephew moving abroad for a far lower cost of living. South America is beautiful, Japan has cheap houses with land, and so on.

I'm an immigrant and moved here on a whim and grow food, you should try growing food it tastes like love. When your nephew is 18 they can do whatever they want providing that they have someone like you supporting them that it's OK to do that.
Partner and I are currently weighing up moving to Europe, but I'm tempted by San Fran or Seattle for the utterly insane pay. Doesn't mean Australia isn't my home or where my heart is, and Australia is not even my country of birth.
You can do that too, today if you wanted.

Hope you’re doing ok and are out of whichever dangers affected you. I think the world has lots of problems. But also, there’s lots of things that are better than they used to be. (At least in the western world). Better healthcare, less racism, less homophobia, more awareness of mental health issues, taking domestic violence seriously, etc. I think your nephew is lucky in one aspect - never underestimate how important it can be in a kids life to have a plain speaking uncle/aunt who might tell them about world perspectives their parents may not.

Wasn't able to do my first aid class last week, but was put into the other class for it this week. In class today and tomorrow so I have to catch up on the theory classes tomorrow, over the weekend.
Very appreciative that they could slot me into this one, so I don't have to pay out of pocket for a private one lol.
And there's nothing more I love than going to campus when it's spring. Thankful my animal course is at the same place they do horticulture. Wandering around the greenhouses and the grounds with all the beautiful plants and flowers, really improves my mental health. So many butterflies, bugs, flowers, buds, the smell of spring. It's just a magical place when it's sunny.

Anyone else bank with ME? Have recently been moved over from ME "classic" to ME Go. It seems to have replaced one buggy app with another buggy app with slightly more features, and the local call centre with a chat+call centre overseas.
It's not really a problem if you rarely need to get in touch with your bank, but if there ever is a problem (which there have been a couple) you can expect to wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer. I guess the fact their interest rates are the best on the market makes up for it?
