Texit and calexit I have heard before in the wild

VerdantSporeSeasoning@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 1y

Drivers make a texit when they take an unpaved exit off a freeway/highway.

PyroNeurosis@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 3 pts · 1y

Really? Not WeGone,Son for Wisconsin?

Blaster_M@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

Calexit should be spelled NCR

Flocklesscrow@lemm.ee · 3 pts · 1y

MD would be Dr.Exit

Er, wut?

The US is united states, not countries

inv3r5ion@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 18 pts · 1y

The US is 50 countries and some territories with almost no rights in a trench coat

SmoothLiquidation@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Countries like wales?

Melatonin@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 1y

A drunk walks up to two women sitting at a bar and says, "Excuse me, but are you two ladies from England?"

"It's Wales," replies one of them.

"All right then, are you two whales from England?"

California alone is the world's 5th largest economy.

Out of curiosity, I just looked and noticed that Vermont's GDP is the lowest of every state in the US ($44.4B), but it is higher than Estonia and 15 other European countries still. And the least-populated state, Wyoming (<600k people), has a larger population than at least 7 other European countries, Malta being the largest at just over 500k. Tangential, but I still thought it was interesting.
