At the start of 2024 federation was broken for a month or so. Lemmy was barely usable. So I much prefer Lemmy 2025.

Sometimes people leave to point out failure. One example is leaving a note on your twitter, signing off, and never signing back on. It's not to get attention; you'd never know if anyone replied or not.
