Hey it says we're the best! Wooo!

Decentralized boredom at its finest

I feel seen.

DmMacniel@feddit.org · 44 pts · 1y

I prefer boredom to assholes that exploit emotions.

DocMcStuffin@lemmy.world · 30 pts · 1y (1 reply)

I give it a 5/10. No mention of beans, unix socks, or tankies.

BreadOven@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Star trek?

apfelwoiSchoppen@lemmy.world · 28 pts · 1y (4 replies)

The Chris Kattan of AI. In that it isn't funny, it is subservient to fascists, and is likely a repeat sex offender.

Quill7513@slrpnk.net · 3 pts · 1y (3 replies)

wait what's this now about chris kattan being subservient to fascists?

apfelwoiSchoppen@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 1y (2 replies)

His politically on the right.

Quill7513@slrpnk.net · 4 pts · 1y

i did not know that

OldManBOMBIN@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

I hadn't heard about the sexual allegations, I don't think. When?

moosetwin@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 28 pts · 1y (1 reply)

There's no emphasis on upvoting though, ha! get owned ai

Zoomboingding@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

Speak for yourself. It's my sacred oath to upvote only the choicest of memes.

maplebar@lemmy.world · 23 pts · 1y

Imagine being the type of person who has conversations with Elon Musk's computer and trying to roast anybody. Wild.

TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 1y

hansolo@lemm.ee · 16 pts · 1y

...I should get some Linux t-shirts...

arotrios@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 1y

All true, and it's still vastly more interesting than Xitter...

solidgrue@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 1y

Grok's got some jokes.

grue@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 1y

Ha! Wrong! I have a GNU T-shirt, not a Linux one!

...that's not any better though, is it? Hmm.

sp3tr4l@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 1y

I don't own any Linux Tshirts and I barely upvote anything at all.

Not having global karma counts, and keeping it constrained to just a given post or comment is a feature, not a bug... we should hopefully know by now that karmawhoring reinforces and lobotomizes the hivemind.

mp3@lemmy.ca · 11 pts · 1y

And I enjoy being a Linux nerd, so suck it Grok.

mortalic@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 1y

I mean yeah, but also, come at me... Oh right you can't figure out which instance to join.... Mmmmkay

cm0002@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 1y

And they said GenAI couldn't be creative lmao

PunnyName@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Wonder if Grok understands its own words.

blaue_Fledermaus@mstdn.io · 18 pts · 1y

LLMs are just statistical models, all they know is how likely a text fragment is to appear near another text fragment.

sp3tr4l@lemmy.zip · 8 pts · 1y

Grok does not grok Grok.

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 1y

I don't own a single Linux t-shirt

...anymore

Demigodrick@lemmy.zip · 9 pts · 1y

How does it know about all of my tshirts?!

Iheartcheese@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 1y (1 reply)

He's right about you nerds and your Linux shirts

I_Miss_Daniel@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

I've only got a Compaq one.

Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de · 6 pts · 1y

The only "insults" in there is "too many" and "boredom". That is a weak first round.

Speaking the truth can be boring, not that LLMs could relate and the only "too many", that grok should be concerned about, is the "too many" liters of water that it is wasting to produce such a weak and boring roast. If you kill the planet at least make it fun.

TheObviousSolution@kbin.melroy.org · 5 pts · 1y

Damn, that thing is running on a 5090, it's on fire!

cheezoid2@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 1y

I dunno, it sounds kinda great to me. I’m sold!

random_character_a@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

How did it know I have too many linux T-shirts.

ryedaft@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Pretty illegible on a phone

hand@lemmy.studio · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

It says;

Lemmy: Mastodon's even nerdier sibling that's all about "federation" and "open-source." It's like Reddit for people who own too many Linux T-shirts and think upvoting is a sacred duty. Decentralized boredom at its finest.

ryedaft@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 1y

Thank you!

And that's a pretty funny roast 😁

I only have one Linux shirt - the awesome upside down command line guide XKCD one. My beard has grown in since, and I have not needed Randall Munroe’s help to navigate my system for many years, but it’s a fun shirt.
