That doesn't actually look that bad ha

You should try mayo pops or ranch pops. They're less chunky.

tatann@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 1y

Not sure if it means intentional slaughter, or deadly fart due to cabbage

Probably the the only time in my life that I'm thankful this is AI.

jackr@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 8 pts · 1y

I am quite sure I have seen this image long before image generating AI was able to generate anything like this, so, unfortunately for you, I believe this is in fact real.

zakobjoa@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Who bites into popsicles?

UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 1y

Me... When I inevitably stop to conscientiously try not to.

I fucking hate AI slop so much. Why do people post that shit?

ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 1y

Everything I don't like is AI slop.

(This image predates the whole genAI boom)

moonlight@fedia.io · 12 pts · 1y

Looks real to me. What makes you say it's AI?

BodilessGaze@sh.itjust.works · 0 pts · 1y (5 replies)

Better than creating this culinary atrocity in real life.

AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 1y (4 replies)

Right now, which is worse - the energy used to generate the image or the food waste if someone actually made slaw pops? At some point in the near future AI wins, if it doesn't win already.

Growing and harvesting and delivering and picking up food use a shitload of fuel, we just subsidize it so you don’t realize how much it is. Using an image generator uses almost no energy (training it did, but that’s already done). The comparison isn’t even close.

orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 1y

For every calorie of food you ingest, it takes at least 10 calories to get it to you. Transportation, refrigeration, packaging, harvesting, etc., all add up.

Eat locally. Buy locally.

Utilization of models begets training of more models.

Kinda like CSAM.
