I don't think it's the spice, but rather the inedible slop from that kind of fast "food" chain that greasily slides through intestines and slips out the colon, like a bat out of hell.

they already have a whole alternate dimension to play with, so it doesn't need to be contained to a single midwest town. they could set seasons in any part of the world, and make it a huge web, with a hyper local focus with new casts.
the more I think about it, the worse it gets; they had a perfect setup and didn't go for it.
a meme was originally used to describe repeated patterns in genetics, and is fundamentally another way to say "mimic," so we could build an argument for a totally different way to moderate content here.
but the spirit of the community is to showcase the modern internet meme, so I think taking the narrow definition of "new jokes over repeated images" is more appropriate than a literal definition of the word itself.
