I can personally recommend Meermin from Mallorca (Spain). Top quality at a fair price.

I'm vegan.

So, here's an example: https://www.shoesforsociety.de/

Astorflex in Italy for good shoes on a budget. If willing to shell serious money, I'm sure Italy has countless cordwainers to cater to that as well.

Then there's Carmina and Sendra in Spain which I hear are high quality, no personal experience of those.

I understand that Portugal is the shoemaking center if Europe. Lots of brands from around the continent produce there.

I just search for brands that explicitly say that those were sewn in my country. For sure if they are paying for EU workforce, they will make it a marketing point. I've had a bad experience when the brand was calling itself producer but those were not produced here

Recently I bought nice leather shoes from Ryłko but apparently they temporarily don't send abroad

On my list I also have https://akardo.pl/12-obuwie-meskie?cena=5-692 and https://butyolivier.pl/pl/terms/informacje-o-sklepie-butyolivier-pl-19.html but haven't tested them yet

http://kavat.com/ has some quality and ethical leather shoes. They provide shoemaker services for their classic models as well.

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but Hanwag is an old trusted brand.

I own a pair of hiking boots and i expect them to last me a lifetime.

I also own a pair of Asolo brand shoes which are also built really durable. Its an Italian brand.

Crocket & Jones (British) makes fine leather shoes. I've seen other good Italian leather shoe makers

Mukishoes made in Portugal have some options if you like the wider barefoot shoes.

I bought the Raw Leather Brown this year and they have been awesome, but I can't find them on their site anymore, only a white version.

I only buy leather boots by Sendra. Made in Spain, awesome quality. My oldest pair is 10 years old, and still going strong (with repairs and proper maintenance).

I get my leather shoes from https://gea-waldviertler.at/shop/schuhe

Made in Lower Austria and absolutely love them. Their style is not for everyone, but I absolutely love mine.

Ashford clothing or Arthur Knight (UK, though, not EU). Embassy London (designed in UK but made in Europe). ETQ Amsterdam. Paul Evans or Ace Marks (made in Italy).
