When a giant mommy mechanoid grasshopper and a giant daddy mechanoid grasshopper love each other very much, they get stuck playing piggyback for a while. And then a little while later out pop hundreds of baby... shipping containers?

Seen plenty on dirt, pavement, trees, rocks, etc. Never actually on grass tho.

Do you have bad eye sight? I don't mean that condescendingly. They can sort of blend in. I see them often when mowing because they hop away. As a kid I saw a lot and I remember playing with them.

But yeah, you don't see them in grass probably because they're hiding in the grass I guess lol.
