My friend has an orange cat that does this. He waits on a shelf next to the front door so that when you enter he can immediately hitch a ride on your shoulder

i currently own 3 shoulder cats, 2 of them just lay down like a stola and stay there (i can walk around and do the dishes with them), and the other are 2 cats - one half is a cat that sits on the back of my head (shes a little bit stupid, but a very cute princess), and the other half only stays if i bend over so he can lay down on my back.
