Oh crap! If cat's evolve opposable thumbs, we're all doomed! Their inability to effectively open the treat bags is the only reason they keep us around!

Hemingway was on to something...

Fun fact, polydactyly is a dominant trait, and has become more and more common over the past 200 years.

Bowie didn't have heterochromia. One of his irises was paralyzed open.

Tell him he can open his own canned food now! He has no right being so cool.

altphoto@lemmy.today · 4 pts · 1y

Teach him to use a spoon, a fork and a knife.... He'll need the other leg free to stand properly.

iAvicenna@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

she must be great at high fives!

roscoe@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Is that not normal when this occurs? Is it usually just one foot, or a pair of feet?

nezrock@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 1y

I believe it's much more common to be either just the front paws or just the rear (with just the front being the most common).

ickplant@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

Tell Seal I love him. I would give his thumbs big kisses every day!
