JaidenAnimations recently made a video about jow she lives in LA and the differences between Cali and Arizona where she was before and said that the weather is like fun warm beach weather and not super scorching deathly hot and I, a Californian, was like "Is she in a different LA than Los Angeles or something? It's hot as shit down there."
I know what you're saying, but somehow the implication that there's an astronomical/geological oddity in Japan (as opposed to their time zone being defined a little weirdly) gave me a chuckle.
i genuinely view christmas decorations (especially lights) as life saving measures, because the darkness up here noticably drives people to kill themselves
