I wonder if classification has made the mass shooting numbers look different. In the 90s I remember everyone just blamed gangs. Shoot out in a parking lot, "they were probably in a gang.". But soon as you list gun violence under gang related, it no longer falls under mass shooting according to the FBI and such. So even if 6 people get killed, that incident wouldn't show up.
Today I rarely see people lumping acts into something like that.
Literally today when Kirk was gently relieved from the laborious task of breathing air meant for people better than him, when someone asked “how many mass shootings have there been in the last ten years”, his response was “excluding gang violence?”
Yes, it's mostly a US-only issue but you know that other countries, Australia, looking at you, that love to be ban happy with any flimsy justification.
This explains all the visas they're denying and the people they're deporting. There was a typo... And everyone knows Christie Noem has trouble with the English language on a good day.
I wonder if we can actually use this to our advantage. Microsoft paid $60billion for one of the most popular violent games, CoD. Can we force them to choose between political pressure or money?
How quickly you retreat to sophistry. I said what I meant. Everyone can see it right there, you cannot twist it, no matter how you try. The vast majority of murders and other violent acts are committed by people who are not dealing with any mental disabilities. Contrarily, people with mental disabilities commit violence far less than the general population. When you said, "People with mental health issues shoot up schools," you might have merely been speaking imprecisely, but then you doubled down on it. I suggest you do some research on the subject before you stigmatize mental illness again.
Arent Mental disabilities and mental health issues different? When I hear someone talk about a mental disability I think of something like a learning disability, or autism. I dont believe they have the propensity to be violent anymore or less than the average. Mental health, however, I think are more states of the mind and can happen to anyone with or without mental disability. Mental health episodes cause one to think and believe in extraordinary circumstances which causes people to do extraordinary things. Im fairly certain thats what the op was talking about.
So, normal people having a bad day. We must aggressively treat people having bad days, even if they don't consent to treatment, because normies are a violent threat to public safety.
Less ironically, I don't agree with your distinction. When people say that "mental issues" cause people to shoot up a school, I think they are talking about serious psychological disorders, not a transient state of mind that might happen to anyone. They are unconsciously looking for an "other" to blame.
No its a little more than a bad day. Im getting the idea that you are taking what people say in bad faith so im not going to say anymore. I recommend getting help.
What happened to ol jack. I'm really hoping he got ran over by a arcade cabinet? Just looked and he is still kicking. He is also still hating that no one cares what he thinks.
In 2024, years after his disbarment from practicing law, as well as his notoriety with gamers fading with the passage of time, Jack Thompson had appeared to have denounced his disdain for video games. On an interview with the My Perfect Console podcast, Thompson praised video games for helping out disabled people with their interactive nature.[50][51][52][53][54][55]
Jack Thompson? Haven't heard much since he got disbarred! What was the blog I used to always read about him on... Can't recall! Wasn't he actually beefing with them?

I blame the Bible for mass shootings, and I guarantee that there is more evidence to support my claim than his.

NO, people with mental health issues are less likely to commit violence than the general population. Violence is fully within the normal human gamut.

120 guns per American (ie per capita) vs 26 guns per Swiss??
According to TFA:
So the number of owners is similar, which is probably more meaningful than the absolute number of guns.
