Short version: they screwed up, then tried to deny it, then tried to explain away the evidence, then tried to shut down negative (factual) comments on their forums.

I like D'Addario, they're a family company, they make good products, bit damn - in a time when all a music company needs to succeed is 'don't be like Fender,' they blew it.

Please no. We didn't need reddit content mirrored here before, and as the quality there drops like rocks, we need it even less now.

I fonpt want to have to continually add more personal blocks on junk.

You answered half of your own question.

"it would raise the value of rocket producers like SpaceX and Blue Origin."

The other thing is a complete lack of jurisdiction. At least theoretically, nobody can go after them for generating grossly illegal content in space.

Also, pure hypermasculine fetishism.

There's absolutely no fiddling.

You will likely need to get the thing connected by a licensed gas fitter. In the spring or after a long rest, you're supposed to check to make sure that spiders haven't nested in the burner inlet tube. (This is true as well for propane.)

With propane you'll want a second tank so you donpt run out mid-cook. Even with a spare tank though, when it runs out you usually don't notice until the grill starts to cool off, and screws up your timing.

For gas grills, I'm 100% on the natural gas side of the fence.

Charcoal snobs are the worst.

Cooking on a flame grill is not at all the same as cooking on a stove or in the oven! Char marks and drainage lead to lower fat and better flavour for most things. Furthermore, you have the option of indirect heat and portable smoker boxes. I've smoked both brisket and ribs on my gas grill, and it's arguably easier to maintain temperature and steady smoke than on my charcoal smoker.

I've got natural gas, and will never go back to fighting wiyh propane tanks.

Weber is probably your best gas grill option, but spend the money on their high-end line. A fair competitor would be Napoleon.

Alternatively, abandon gas and get a Big Green Egg. It'll outlast your grandchildren.

I had a pair of Hanwag hiking boots for 30 years. When they finally died mid-trail, I did enough damage to them getting back to the car that they couldn't be resoled. After trying every other boot brand on the market, I tried on a new set of Hanwags and felt like I was putting on some comfy old slippers. (With great support and solidity).

I expect these to last as long as the last, by which point I'll be in my late 80s, and hard-pressed to do any more hiking.

Back when I was still buying things from the US, I got a pair from the Thursday Boot Company. Definitely solid, functional, well-built, and stylish.

Probably nowhere to try them on, but they were great on returns when I ordered the wrong size.
