This would be SO INCREDIBLY CORRUPT if he was a Democrat!

-Chuck Schumer and the DNC Surprisingly!

They've investigated themselves, and found themselves to be guilty. So they shut that whole thing down.

Well it was legitimate corruption after all.

Waste of government resources uncovering real crimes like this when they should be inspecting the genitalia of their subjects in search of "nihilistic violent extremists".

Such a shame we need to spend federal money looking at every child naked and documenting ut exhaustively to stop terrorism.

It's not that I'm not surprised. It's more that this is actually expected.

Organized crime in the executive branch, FBI, CIA, etc.

This type of corruption is something that would either be exposed by the Epstein files, or could lead to exposure. The corruption runs deep and long.

Whitney Webb wrote a 2 volume book about it

She's also done a bunch of podcasts and interviews talking about it. Here's one good one.

Thanks for the link.

The FBI and CIA have been organized crime syndicates for decades now, so it's even less surprising.

He took the 50K, so I guess he just gets to keep it? Our DOJ is literally funding corruption.

He forgot what a dry fart felt like before we knew whether we'd survive Y2K.

Since laws no longer matter, why the hell are the rest of us self imposing them upon ourselves?

Modern_medicine_isnt@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 336d (1 reply)

Did you here how the DOJ is demanding at least 30 years in jail for someone who planned to try and kill a supreme court judge, but instead turned themselves in... laws don't matter, but any action "they" don't like is suddenly illegal even if there is no law about it. So don't follow the law. Speed if you want. Pirate media if you like. Just don't speak ill of our great leader...

There was an anime about this, and the violence inherent in laws–hierarchy stuff!

onslaught545@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 336d

Because the people who would enforce them on us have military hardware.

He looks like the kind of guy that gets really angry when his kids refuse to bring the grand kids over for the holidays.
