I hope you’re right. It doesn’t help that I gamed out that asshole getting a third term about a month ago, and one of the court decisions needed for my theory to work came to pass this past week (with Justice Brown-Jackson explicitly calling out the loophole that’s needed).
I just can’t help but thinking that keeping his ass out of jail may be one of the few things he’d spend this money on.

I’m aware of the U.S. Government’s historically shitty treatment of Native Americans and have no problem with indigenous people turning it back on them.

As far as I’m concerned contracts under duress are null and void. The tribe should lie cheat steal to get their people back and then flip ICE the bird.
There is always something that can be done, it just comes down to people willing to do it. The harder/riskier the action the fewer people are willing to put themselves on the line.
