Psh, hot dogs would obviously have 4 legs. They're dogs after all.

No, they are sandwiches

Akasazh@feddit.nl · 3 pts · 342d (1 reply)

Tacos ftfy

lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 342d

Tacos are sandwiches, too

makeshiftreaper@lemmy.world · 23 pts · 343d

There's precedent for tall:

Zkuld@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 343d (1 reply)

1 leg at each end obviously not a good runner

ivanafterall@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 343d

If you face the legs at each end perpendicular to the body rather than parallel, that'd be a very sturdyboi.

The words “horizontally” and “vertically”: 😢

WhatsHerBucket@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 342d (1 reply)

Not tall-style?

don@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 342d

Wideways, maybe.

samus12345@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 342d (7 replies)

Upright, of course.

undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch · 3 pts · 342d (6 replies)

This is deeply unsettling but I don’t know why.

Mozingo@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 342d (5 replies)

It makes sense, that whole movie was deeply unsettling.

undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch · 3 pts · 342d (4 replies)

Movie‽

Mozingo@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 342d

Hahah yea, it's from that Seth Rogan movie Sausage Party.

Krudler@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 342d

I fucking lauged so hard

E I don't know how the fuck voice recognition managed to get lauged

samus12345@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 342d

You don't know the half of it!

wjrii@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 342d

This is already settled science.

DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 342d

Everyone talks about hot dogs, but what about cold cats? 🤔

PeriodicallyPedantic@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 341d

As much as I want it to run tall wise, there is clear evolutionary pressure to run longwise so the dog doesn't fall out of the bun.
There is no way the hotdog could evolve sanding upright

Sideshow_B00b@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 341d

If Amazing World of Gumball taught me anything it’s that hot dog men walk and run upright. It’s not up for debate, even.

Guardians too. Hot Dog Derby.

ch00f@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 343d

Depends if you're drinking a Rainier with it.

Lemminary@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 342d

Top is running like Naruto

Kolanaki@pawb.social · 4 pts · 342d

I mean obviously the long way, because that's how hotdogs are generally anthropomorphized.

Next you're gonna ask if Mr. Peanut has his legs on his chest instead of his nutt.

GissaMittJobb@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 342d

Horizontally is the more aerodynamic option and hence superior

Krudler@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 342d

Evolution would optimize for the environment; currently unanswerable.

wclinton93@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 342d

Depends on the condiments

ZindaDil@sopuli.xyz · 1 pts · 342d

Its a dog at the end of the day, so what if its just hot?

WhiteRabbit_33@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 342d

Luckily there's a racing game that came out this year that answered this long asked question.

Settled ages ago. And the legs are on the bun.

I think they would be able to revert between the two. Yeah. I stand by that.

This looks like Karameru’s art style.
