God inseminated a married women without her consent, a women who he essentially created. That's like three sins right off the bat.

More of an political jab than an atheist viewpoint.

More of a meme than a viewpoint too ;)

Perspectivist@feddit.uk · 2 pts · 319d (1 reply)

But not much of an atheist one ;)

That's a meme an atheist would use to make fun of religion

It's all fictional and lies. None of that is real. No fathers, no mothers, no gods, no jebus, no nothing.

Fiction. It's all fiction.

"But if you point out canon to believers, they'll listen!"

If you believe that, you - yes you, are the stupidest person on the fucking planet.

Jesus Christ was a real person. That's not a religious belief, it's a historical claim based on multiple independent authors writing about this person in the 1st century BC.

Same with Siddartha Gautama and Muhammad. Atheism has no bearing on the existence of humans as religious figures, only on their divine nature.

Religion is not fiction. It's a man-made institution and system of beliefs and practices. It exists regardless if gods exist.

Referencing that other people claim to follow someone with that name is just repeating the rumors you heard, not a direct first hand accounting of his existence.
