As for Bella. She is not a girl. She is the concept of beauty and peace. The original song, an Italian antifascist folk song, is saying "goodbye beauty/goodbye beautiful." Bella isn't the girl you leave behind to fight, she's the peaceful life that you're forsaking to do so.
You know, they really seem to do anything right up to the red line that we demand in an attempt to kick the can/appease enough people. I say we move the red line to "flay pharma billionaires alive for sport" and maybe they'll do single payer then.
