Signs a contract, fails to deliver on said contract. Throws an embarrassing tantrum in front of the whole world when the client starts looking somewhere else.
It's surprising how SpaceX and Tesla have managed to do so well despite this child at the helm. Whoever is in charge of keeping him distracted and away from the company's operations deserves a raise.

For Spacex, her name is Gwynne Shotwell. She is president and COO of SpaceX. She's incredibly smart and savvy in business. She's pragmatic and levelheaded. She's everything Elon isn't. I don't know what bargain she has with him that Elon largely lets her run the company, but if you're looking for why SpaceX is successful as it is, its her.
Tesla had first-mover-advantage in EVs, and the entrenched interests of petroleum companies and their pals in the US automotive sector making subpar cars for decades allowing Tesla to establish early with an alternative. Tesla, on the other hand, doesn't have a Shotwell at the helm, and you can see what disastrous business decisions have happened over there.

Nonono! Space Nazis are a fun trope for movies. I don't want that to become reallity.
On the other hand; if he goes on jos own space ship, there is a good chance, it explodes. 🙃

Whoa, it's almost as if Musk sicced DOGE on NASA, and it somehow soured their relationship.

Don't forget that he cut off communication for Ukraine when they were fighting russia too. He's a traitor POS, why should NASA trust him for anything?

It's almost certainly not that. Supplier diversity has been identified as a strategic priority for NASA since forever. The failures to achieve this are more prominent that than the successes.

Shouldn't have been doing business with the nazi apartheid cunt in the first fucking place, but all we can do is move forward at this point.

All about market competition until they need to compete in a market. Typical fucking capitalist.

stfu, Elon. Get better or stfu. It should be unsurprising that your client would prefer to not have two aspects of the mission hampered by your idiocy.
And he says NASA are the dumb ones, oml...

The best part is Elon tried to say the competition sniped one of the explosions.
From the roof.
It was later proven wrong after it was revealed they fuelled the rockets too fast, and it reinforced the incorrect stance space X had for fueling after loading passengers

SpaceX could reclaim that contract with ease. Just punt the CEO and put someone competent in charge.

If he put as much effort into this company as he does goose stepping, and sieg heiling on a stage, then the landers would already be on the moon.

Sucks to suck.
