A walrus typically weighs over 2,000lbs. An outsized one could weigh as much as 3,700. I think it's reasonable to assume that their family of 4 likely weighs over 8,000lbs. I would disregard the weight of supplies and equipment as being negligible, given that Walruses typically don't use much of that. Although, they also usually don't drive vehicles, so perhaps all bets are off at this point.
Also, so what? There are Chinese spy bases in the US and US spy bases in most countries. If that was a casus belli, we'd be in the middle of a world war right now. Might as well accuse Cubans of farting in the general direction of Guantanamo.
This is perfect for the NYPD entrapment operations mentioned by another comment under this post. Imagine their surprise when they realize they have ro deal with a urine-soaked wallet now. You'd probably still get arrested for disturbing the peace or indecency or whatever charge that jurisdiction uses to arrest people without an actual cause, but it would be worth it.
